kroger trip

my daugther in-law and i went shopping with my sister today. My sister bought $189.00 in groceries and paid $107.00. My daughter in-law bought $150.00 in groceries and spent $80.00. Then i would have done better but my grandson was with me and there was a few things that he needed. I bought $14.00 in groceries and spent $5.55 now $3.08 of that was my grandson. Anyway thats what grandparents are for.

My husband and I met the nicest couple while shopping at kmart today. They were couponing too and she gave me a hand full of really good coupons. I think couponers are the greatest people, we are all the same trying to feed our families. If you get to read this thank you so very much for the coupons and encouragement you gave me.

kmart second round

This was my cart: 24 items. Total paid out $22.44. This was $73.30 worth of merchandise. not too bad, but again the coupons didn't double on several items. Then they would not take two of my coupons.

kmart shopping

kmart had signs saying double coupons up to $2.00 which would made them $4.00. that's not quiet true. the sign also said only 25 coupons per person per day. My husband did this first round it should have been $11.80 instead it was $22.76. They don't always double coupons. Some of them rang up $1.50 instead of the $2.00. Even some of the $1.50 rang up at $1.29 instead of $1.50. in this order there was 27 items totaling $77.42 and I only paid $22.76, so i guess i can't complain.
