graduation day

Our daugther will graduate from collage may the 9Th. She has worked so hard for the last 5 years to earn this degree. She has went to school full time and worked part time. We are so proud of her. She will the first one of us to graduate collage. She wants to be a social worker and make a difference in children lives. May God bless her always. LOVE YOU your parents

kmarts double coupon

I emailed kmart to find out where in kentucky they would be having double coupon deals. This is what they said Florence, Louisville, Elizabethtown, Newport and Erlanger areas. Kmart said up to $2.00 would be doubled and you could only us 25 coupons per person per day. Hopes this helps someone out there.

we are getting a really bad storm. The weather band is going crazy. The television programing has been switched to weather. They say several tornado have touch down in different places in Kentucky. I'm staying in the house hope the creek doesn't jump its banks.

Dad, mom and grandma came down today. We were able to spend a few hours with them. We meet them at wal-mart so i could give mom some coupons that she could use there. Then we all went out to lunch, it was grandma birthday today. She is sweet 93.

Eight O'clock coffee

coupon book

Here is my coupon book. I've had it set up for a while now it only take a few minutes to put my cut out coupons in it. Yesterday i put several hundred coupons in it from my scavenger hunt. My sister and daugther in-law have smaller version of my book. The three of us trade coupons. My daugther in-law belongs to a moms group she lets the moms group have the coupons that the three of us don't use. My daugther in-law mom group sends all the coupons that have expired to army family's. They are able to use the expired coupons.

Monday morning

First thing Monday morning is my scavenager hunt. I try to get as many inserts as I can some times i do better than others. Yesterday was the best I have done. Here is a picture of the extra coupons, if you look close you will see a gallon ziplock bag full of cut out coupons.

My niece is leaving Kentucky and moving to Indiana. She will be going to nurseing school. I just want to say congraulation. I hope that life brings you all you want.

Our area is small we have a wal-mart, rite aid, kroger's and foodlion. To get to anything else I have to drive an hour so I try not to make those trips real often. When i read some of yours I want to do as well as you do but some time you can't. Thanks all of you for your hard work and helping people like me.

First, I bought 4 news papers. Then I took them apart and put the same coupons together. Next, I stapled them together and cut them out. Then I had to make sure I put all of the coupons I wanted in my book. Then off to Winchester to spent time at Kroger's shopping with my sister. I bought $242.13 my total out of pocket was $140.12. Here are some of the deals i got.

15 cans of crescent rolls at $1.45 each I had .40 coupon- double coupon makes it .80 making each of my rolls .65.

8 cans of biscuits .99 each. I had a .50 off three can, and a coupon for .40 off 2 cans making them .66 a can.

Hungry jack syrup $2.99 with a $1.00 coupons making it $1.99.

Snuggle fabric softener $3.99 with a $2.00 coupon making it $1.99.

I bought 2 Schick quattro trim style razor that on sale for $10.97 each I had a buy one get one and then A $4.00 off coupon making my total $6.97 for the 2 of them. A schick intuition at $9.77 I had a $4.00 off coupon making it $5.77.

I bought 2 Ziploc storage bags at $2.49 each I had one coupon for a$1.00 on 2 and a .40 coupon on 1 making them $1.59 each.

Domino sugar 2/2lb. boxes with a coupon for .40 on 2 boxes they were $1.75 per box taking off .80 made them $1.80 each

Reddi whip at $1.99 and I had a $1.00 coupon for each making them .99 each.

Bounty basic .97 each with a .25 coupon making them .47 each- i was able to get 4 .

yoplait yogurt .69 each with a .40 off 6 I bought 12 making them .57 each .
