While we were away from home moving out daugther to Boone Co. my daugther, first cousin and I did some Kroger shopping. The three of us had a great time. The savings was 80% to cool. Wonderful if cool is still a word I guess you know that I was a flower child. (lol)

Its been awhile

Things have been really busy. Our baby moved away from home last week. She and I spent several days just packing up all of her stuff. There is a reason I didn't have any room in the house she was using most of it. When we started packing up we were shocked how many things she did. The good news is I only broke one thing. The bad news is that I only broke one thing while we were packing.

I forgot to say the baby is a collage graduate. We are so very proud of her.

I can not tell you how much fun we had. There was hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, tomatos from the garden, and onions. watermelon, cantolope, cake, Tangy coconut tarts, blueberry cheesecake bars, Irresistible Lemom Chiffon pie. Thanks to my daugther in-law for all the desserts. There were 14 guest. Thanks to all of you for coming. They were so pleased with they goodie bags that splenda sent for each of them. All of the guest either had diabites or a family member did. They were so glad for the cookbooks. Thanks Splenda For everything.

Rite aide and Family Dollar

Yesterday dinner was wonderful. When the good Lord made mommy he made the greatest cook. Only part of us were there 22 of us were there and 12 more just missed it. Mom made a chocolate cake with Carmel icing, blackberries dumplings for dessert. My sister had bought a iced cookie too. There was a ham, fried chicken, peas, corn on the cob and cream style corn, mashed potatoes. Mom had Cole slaw and a veg. salad. It makes me hungry just to write it down. I think I have told you every thing. Here is hopping each of your families love.

Home from Mickey House

Our grandson is on his way home from Mickey's House. Of course his Dad and mom are bringing him home. K. did allow his parents to see Mickey while they were there. We have been taking care of his puppy a.k.a. Boxer while they have been away. He is the greatest grandson ever. Wait a minute that probably what you think about your grandchild.

There are 50 copies of sunday inserts. You can't see all of them but they are there. Only one problem only 1 copy had the sugar and kool-aid coupon in it. How on earth are the inserts always different than they should be. You can see all the other inserts from other papers I was able to get today

Today was a wonderful day. Our family Dr. had called monday saying that my husband had dementia. The rest of the family and I were sick with worry. Today we took him to a neurogists. My husband does not have dementia, instead the med. he is on has been causing him memory problems.Thank you Jesus.

My husband and I set up the pool for the neighbor hood children today. They were all here last night to swing and play. The children have so much fun. We have most of the parents here as well when the children are here.

My husband had to have a M R I today. I'm glad that's done he hates Dr. and hospitals. He worried his self crazy the last two days waiting for the appointment.

k-mart doubles

K-Mart in Winchester will be doubling coupons starting Sunday June the 7Th. I called the store and asked to make sure. I also called the Grayson K-Mart they will not be doubling coupons

My daugther is getting married or so we think she is in the next year. At her shower I plan to give her a $150.00 gift card from Kroger's and a coupon book. I'll make sure that book is full of coupons for that shopping trip to Kroger's.

My daugther in-law called the other day to see why I hadn't been blogging. The truth is I have been so depressed. My baby graduated from collage. It was too much for me. I had thought all this time i ready for her to grow up. Guess what: i wasn't. The thing that has helped the most is worm hunting. My daugther and I went hunting for nightcrawlers, you know those things are really fast. Now don't get me wrong I hate worms and so does she. My dad had wanted nightcrawlers to fish with. i found out there are all kinds of them in our yard and the neighbors yards. So what would you do but go nightcrawler hunting. We screamed a lot we dropped a lot. In other words my daugther and i had a lot of fun.

these are pictures after the storm Saturday. It looked like a tornado was coming. Thank the good lord it was just fog raising from the ground.

Yesterday was busy. Four different couponers showed up to go threw my coupons. They each left with several, not only did they go threw all the extra coupons I had they also went threw my coupon book. I always share with everyone and try to encourage them to do so too.

Monday hunt

Yesterday we spent the whole day putting together inserts and cutting them out. My coupon hunting area has been found and someone is trying to take over. I would be more than glad to give anyone part of my coupons. I do that all the time. We cut out ever coupon and share with everyone. I just hope they respect my right to continue getting the coupons no body wanted until now but me.

last week freebies

Here are few item that i was able to get free.

Its been about a week. I've been working so hard trying to get the house ready and cook for our daugther graduation party. We did a complete spring cleaning. Then we cooked for three days. You should have seen the food. Ham, Turkey, fried chicken. We had fried apple pies, lemon bars, white fudge, and peanut butter fudge. My daugther in-law made a raspberry cake with chocolate icing, a yellow two tier cake with the most wonderful home made icing that i have ever tasted. There was potato salad, fruit salad, macaroni salad, macaroni and cheese, and many other items to eat. There were 32 people it was great. I wish all of you could have been here.

Monday inserts

Today began with coupon insert hunt. Believe me it paid off. Not only is my coupon book to full but this is the left overs. There are always a lot more than I can use. My family and friends and I have started a coupon train.

Hey R. hope you found the way to get on this site. I sent you halve of the coupons i got monday. Hope there are some you can use. K. is coming to get the rest of the coupons tomorrow and bringing my best man. He said he needed a grandma break.

power wash

Today my husband and I spent about 5 hours power washing our trailer it just about did us both in. It is so clean. We live next to a creek its a beautiful. But living next to a creek causes a lot of cleaning on the outside. Its worth it.

busy busy busy

The last two day have been really busy. Monday is go get those coupons day, and believe me i did. I was able to get 51 copies of the 19th paper. Here is a stack of the inserts.

5 Years

Today my cousin came from Ohio. This is the first time in 5 years that i have got to see her. She's more like my little sister. It was great to see her face and put my arms around her. It was a short visit but a wonderful visit. My family has a great deal of love for one another. Even though we are not alway together it seems that time melt away when we do see one another. I hope that each one of you has someone so special in they're lives.

That is how my morning started. With my son in-law to be asking my daugther if her mother was crazy. Your mother is in there taking pictures of her groceries. Well my mom just takes spells like that we just look over her.

Walgreens

My daugther in-law made a trip to walgreens this morning. She had some problems with management. She had a coupon for $3.00 off Patene shampoo and conditioner which she bought. She also had a coupon for a free hair spray from patene if you bought the shampoo and conditioner. At first they refused to let her use both coupons even though she had followed the coupon deal. Finally the main manger told his people she could use both coupons. From what my daugther in-law said the assistant manger threw thing at her. My daugther in-law was fit to be hogged tied and bush whack.

Today I had to get some things at Family Dollar. While I was there I spoke to the manger about internet printable coupons. She said that they were not able to take coupons printed from the internet.

If I could just remember

Monday morning coupon hunt. We did great on that. Our daugther in-law and her mother stopped by to get all the extra coupons. There was a gallon bag full.
While I was on my way out to get the newspaper inserts this morning I grabbed some coupons so I could stop by rite aid and get some freebies. The only thing is i forgot to take my $5.00 for $25.00 coupon. Any way we were able to get 2 contour meters free.

Sister

My sister and her friend came down to get my extra coupons. They were able to spend several hours with us. They spent some time going threw my coupon book as well, taking what ever coupons they wanted out of it. It was a wonderful visit.

Here is a picture of 8 coupons 2 for kotex and 6 for Kellogg's one box free. That wasn't all i got in the mail. My All You magazine came today. I love coupons

The dog looks good. He's mking sure that his part doesn't get taken away. This is most of what I bought at krogers today. There is 2 Freshella pizza, 2 sister rolls, 2 bird eye veg. and 4 green giant veg. missing. My total for all this came to $361.05 total out of pocket was $187.21 I will get a $20.00 rebate for the ham and unilever items. We are getting ready for that big dinner for our daugther graduation.
